What is the "Netcleanse Technologies Beta Program"?
The Netcleanse Technologies Beta Program is a program designed to meet the needs of our development teams and our beta test sites. It is the single place on the web for all of your Netcleanse Technologies Beta needs. The beta test process helps Netcleanse Technologies determine the quality of a product before it is released to the general public. Beta sites find and report additional problems while using Netcleanse Technologies beta products in a variety of system environments.

What is a Beta site?
A beta site has been specially selected to work with our beta coordinators and our development teams.

What are the requirements to be a Beta test site?

  • An authorized beta site must commit to the following:
  • Test the product for a minimum of 10 hours a week.
  • Install product within 48 hours of receiving it.
  • Report defects found during beta testing.    
  • Retest defects with product refresh code.
  • Participate in conference calls, as scheduled.
  • Answer survey questions, as needed.
  • Provide overall feedback to development on reliability, stability, and readiness of product for marketplace.
  • Provide feedback regarding product documentation and help systems.
  • Provide the required hardware to adequately test the product.            ^

What are the benefits of being a Beta test site?

  • Early access to product code.
  • Involvement in development cycle, which includes the ability to influence the final code and submit enhancement requests prior to release.
  • Free technical support throughout the duration of the beta test period.
  • More stable code due to multiple individuals testing in many environments.
  • One-on-one contact with the Development team, Product Management, Marketing, etc., through conference calls.
  • Relationship-building opportunities with other beta sites around the world.
  • Product training sessions during conference calls.
  • Improved documentation.
  • The ability to roll out the product in your production environment immediately upon official customer release.

When does Netcleanse Technologies conduct their beta projects?
The beginning of a beta project is determined by the development cycle of each Netcleanse Technologies product. Information on upcoming products is not publicly available.
